OUR MINISTRIES

Do you feel empty?  Do you constantly feel that something is missing within?  Maybe, it is working for a purpose that is greater than you.

Think about bees. According to Golden Blossom Honey (2017) "In order to produce 1 pound of honey, 2 million flowers must be visited. A hive of bees must fly 55,000 miles to produce a pound of honey. One bee colony can produce 60 to 100 pounds of honey per year. An average worker bee makes only about 1/12 teaspoon of honey in its lifetime."

Likewise, worshipping and praising God is just the beginning. There is much more work to be done, and here, at SMBC, you are truly needed.  Matthew 9:36-38 says, "…Seeing the people, [Jesus] felt compassion for them, because they were distressed and dispirited like sheep without a shepherd.  Then He said to His disciples, 'The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few.  'Therefore beseech the Lord of the harvest to send out workers into His harvest."

Imagine!  Even though a single bee only produces 1/12 teaspoon of honey in its lifetime, a colony can produce 100 pounds per year.

Come and work in our sweet honeycomb of God's love. Find a place to work for God!!
